The Bear Paw Ski Bowl offers a unique opportunity for residents of the Hi-line-- and others fortunate enough to stumble across this island oasis of beauty, snow and fun-- to enjoy the many splendid recreational activities Montana winters are famous for. From snowshoeing and snowmobiling to cross-country skiing and downhill skiing, the Bear Paw Mountains have it all!

The Bear Paw Ski Bowl was established in the 1960's and recreationists at Bear Paw will find a nostalgic and rustic trip back to a time when sking was the emphasis and accommodations were provded by good neighbors with a smile. Bear Paw is managed, run and maintained by an all-volunteer, non-profit organization called Snow Dance Ski Association. Over the years Snow Dance and the Chipewa Cree Tribe have worked Closely together to provide, improve, and promote the ski area so those who ride, slide and glide will have a safe, enjoyable experience.
